BUILDING AUDITS

PRE & POST OCCUPATION AUDITS

 

Pre and post occupational audits are undertaken on behalf of either the Lessee or Lessor to determine the extent of maintenance “run-down” in terms of agreed responsibilities.

 

Audits are inclusive of digital photographic record of pre and post condition of building fabric and utilities as well as accurate cost analysis.

 

CONDITION AUDITS – FIXED ASSETS – MOVABLE ASSETS – ASSET REGISTERS 

 

Condition Audits are undertaken of all elements of the building fabric and utilities. These audits are inclusive of detailed asset walk-downs and accurate analysis of age vs. cost of repair or replacement as well as backlog maintenance. 

Audit reports are in electronic format. For movable assets this audit comprises the bar-coding of all applicable assets. 

The management system records electronically, the exact status, location, age, and replacement cost of such asset.

The Asset Master File Record is structured to suit individual needs. Repair or replacement costs are prioritized and scheduled for action over an agreed time frame. 

Audits are inclusive of recommended routine maintenance activities.

Asset registers are compiled electronically and form the nucleus of future Audits thereafter.

Our Proud HIstory

Innova Design was originally established in 1995 as Spatial Concepts with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Gaborone.

A marketing alliance was formed with the Australian company BBR Design which led to its local registration in South Africa. As an international group, BBR afterwards expanded to include affiliate offices in New Zealand, South Africa, Mauritius, UAE, Qatar and Singapore.

The directors made the decision to change the name to Innova Design. This was done so as to include bespoke project management, interior design and fit out to the medical and dental practices in Australia.

Our Innova team are highly talented and experienced, which ensures the success of this business operation in Africa. They have been carefully assembled over the years and add immense value to every assignment. Collectively, we deliver excellent services and end results, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction.

Tony Moore, the founder of the Group, has steered  a successful interior design, fit out and refurbishment company for the past 25 years. For that reason, he brings an invaluable wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise from all facets of the business. Andrew Dutton’s (Managing Director) fresh approach to human centered design has ignited a new trajectory for Innova  Design which we are confident will impact future clients and change the industry.
