Project Details

The Road Accident Fund required us to conduct a study of  the spatial needs for the Head Office based at Menlyn and  also to review the premises requirements for the new  computer operations division.


This study included a full review of the existing premises and a  complete set of floor layouts were produced to back up the  various alternatives available to the RAF.


Following a full needs analysis as well as a location study and  market rental review the recommendation to the RAF was to  establish separate premises off site to accommodate the  newly established operating division. 


This decision was based  on all the available options within the time and monetary  constraints of the RAF. A new 7,500m2 office building was  selected in Centurion

Innova Design was originally established in 1995 as Spatial Concepts with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Gaborone.

A marketing alliance was formed with the Australian company BBR Design which led to its local registration in South Africa. As an international group, BBR afterwards expanded to include affiliate offices in New Zealand, South Africa, Mauritius, UAE, Qatar and Singapore.

The directors made the decision to change the name to Innova Design. This was done so as to include bespoke project management, interior design and fit out to the medical and dental practices in Australia.

Our Innova team are highly talented and experienced, which ensures the success of this business operation in Africa. They have been carefully assembled over the years and add immense value to every assignment. Collectively, we deliver excellent services and end results, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction.

Tony Moore, the founder of the Group, has steered  a successful interior design, fit out and refurbishment company for the past 25 years. For that reason, he brings an invaluable wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise from all facets of the business. Andrew Dutton’s (Managing Director) fresh approach to human centered design has ignited a new trajectory for Innova  Design which we are confident will impact future clients and change the industry.
